Year of the Tiger forecast from Astrolabe

Free Year of the Tiger forecast (PDF) from Astrolabe, written by Malvin Artley:

The Tiger in Chinese astrology represents majesty, dignity and sternness, daring, power and passion and anyone who has those qualities in their nature will fare well in 2010. For those who are more sedate then those same Tiger qualities may just be awakened this year. It is said that the Tiger has no special magical properties. Tigers work best in the trenches and in motivating others to get things done. It will be a great year to start an enterprise, work at self-improvement, prevail upon the boss for that raise you so richly deserve, do something daring and completely out-of-character, push your own and others’ boundaries, get over that fear of public speaking or just generally make a bold statement about your life. In all, find whatever stirs your passion this year and the Tiger in you is sure to come out!

The Valentine New Moon in Aquarius

The Romans also knew her as the Goddess of women, marriage and romance. This year’s Aquarius New Moon checks in within very near hailing distance of that date. As such, we might look at the Juno symbolism in the context of the energy presented to us in our Southland Valentine New Moon.

Perhaps you will remember that last month’s New Moon was accompanied by a close conjunction to Venus. There is a similar effect for this Valentine New Moon as Chiron and Neptune, the higher octave planet of Venus, are both within a 01° conjunction of the New Moon degree. This four planet dance can clearly be seen clustered in the Southland’s fifth house (above) where they are joined by a finally direct Mercury. Read more
